VenakisBooking software for salons, barbers and clinicshelp@venakis.com
For UK salons, barbers and clinics

Booking software with no commission. Your clients stay yours.

You get online booking, reminders, staff diaries, client records and a booking website of your own. It costs £149, £229 or £349 a month depending on the size of your business. There's no setup fee and no commission on bookings, and you can export your whole client list whenever you like.

Prices don't include VAT. Venakis isn't VAT-registered, so none is added.

Three things you can check before you sign up.

Most booking software asks you to trust it with your client list. Here's what happens to yours, in writing.

Your client list is yours

You own your client records, including the legal right in the list itself, and the terms assign to you any right we might have in it. We only process your clients' data on your instructions and we never market to them.

Terms of Service, section 11

Take all of it, any time

Export every client, appointment, payment and note as CSV and JSON, free, as often as you like. We publish the field names so another system can load the files. Export still works for 60 days after you leave, even if you've stopped paying.

Data Ownership and Exit

Prices are published in full

There are three prices, set by business size. There's no setup fee and no commission. You pay monthly and can leave at the end of any month. If we change a price, you get 30 days' notice and can leave before it applies.

Prices and what is included

See your day on one screen.

The Owner HQ opens on today's bookings and anything that needs your attention. It also compares the last 30 days with the 30 before. Clients book through your own website, and those bookings go straight into the same diary.

One package, three sizes.

Your band is set by the size of your business: the number of locations, staff and bookings a month.

  • Around 10 staff
  • Around 500 bookings a month
  • Dedicated backend available, +£99 a month
Medium
£229a month

A busier site, or two sites.

  • Dedicated backend available, +£99 a month
Large
£349a month

A small group.

  • Around 5 locations
  • Around 100 staff
  • Around 10,000 bookings a month

Prices don't include VAT. Venakis isn't VAT-registered, so none is added. The figures are a guide to size and you can go over them. If you do, your service carries on as normal and we'll agree a move to the next band with you. There's no commission on bookings. Full pricing, including the optional dedicated backend →

See your own booking site before you pay anything.

Choose your business type and how you want the site to look. In most cases we build a first draft straight away and email you a link. If someone needs to check it first, we'll let you know and reply by email.

Who else can use your client data

Venakis

You are the controller of the personal data in your clients' records and we are the processor. We only process it on your documented instructions. We don't use it for our own purposes or sell it, and we never market to your clients.

Run by a small team.

Venakis is run by a small team. We write the software and look after the servers ourselves, and we answer the support emails too, so when you get in touch you're talking to the people who built it.

That has limits, and they're written down. Support is by email only, with no set hours or promised response times, and there's no phone line. If you need guaranteed response times or round-the-clock support, Venakis isn't the right fit, and it's better to say so now.

What we commit to

  • If clients can't book, fixing that comes first
  • Updates on critical and high-priority issues until they're fixed
  • 99.5% availability each month, with credits if we miss it
  • The right to leave for free if we miss it three months in six
  • Continuous backups with 3 days of point-in-time recovery

The Service Level Agreement has the details, including what doesn't count.

Also works for

The same system also handles class and table bookings, and the setup is much the same.
