Choose your scheme
Go to Rewards in HQ (it appears when the Loyalty & promotions module is on). On the Scheme tab, choose one style for your business:
- Stamps: a stamp for each visit. For “buy 9, the 10th is free”, choose 10 stamps on a card and add a reward that costs 10 stamps.
- Points: points for every whole £1 a client pays, spent on rewards.
The preview on the right shows the card exactly as clients see it on their account page. Press “Turn the scheme on” to start.
Tip: You can’t switch between stamps and points while clients hold a balance, because 9 stamps would suddenly be worth 9 points.
What earns
- Attended bookings. A booking nobody marks counts as attended 24 hours after it ends (you can choose 2 hours, 3 days, or only when you mark it). Marking it a no-show takes the stamp back.
- Class packs and membership payments made online.
- Gift card purchases never earn. Cancelled bookings and no-shows never earn, and a full refund takes back what it earned.
- Points follow money: a class paid with credits earns no points, because buying the pack did. Stamps follow visits: a class paid with credits still earns a stamp.
You can also let unspent stamps or points lapse after a number of months without earning. It’s off unless you switch it on.
Rewards
On the Rewards tab, add what stamps or points can be spent on: a free service, a free item from your menu, an amount off or a percentage off, and how many stamps or points it costs.
Signed-in clients choose a reward when they book online. A free menu item (a coffee) is given at the counter instead: see “Adding stamps at the counter”.
Automatic deals
On the Deals tab, add any of these. They come off automatically on your booking site, with no code to type:
- Quiet-time pricing: a percentage or amount off chosen services on chosen days and times.
- First visit offer: for someone who has never had an attended booking with you.
- Birthday treat: in the client’s birthday month. Only for clients who gave a birthday (month and day, never the year) and agreed to news and offers. They get one email at the start of that month, with an unsubscribe link.
- Refer a friend: each client gets a link to share. When a friend books with it and comes in for their first visit, both get the reward you chose.
Tip: Only one price reduction is used per booking: a reward, a deal or a discount code. If several apply, the client gets the one that saves them most, and we tell them which was used.
Members and adjusting a balance
The Members tab lists everyone with stamps or points, their balance and last visit. Open someone to see every change with its reason.
To add or take away by hand (moving clients over from paper cards, say), enter the number and a reason. The reason is required and it’s logged.
Promo codes (your discount codes from Gift cards & codes) are listed on the Promo codes tab too, so everything that lowers a price is in one place.
