Selling gift cards
- Go to Gift cards & codes → Selling gift cards and switch it on.
- Choose the amounts to offer, whether buyers can type their own amount, and how many months cards last (UK gift cards usually last at least 12).
- Your site gets a Gift cards page. The buyer pays by card, and the code is emailed to the person it’s for.
You need card payments set up (see Payments). The money goes straight to your own Stripe account, like every other payment.
Using and managing gift cards
- Customers enter the code when they pay for a booking or a class pack. It can pay part or all of it; anything left stays on the card.
- If a booking paid by gift card is cancelled in time, the money goes back on the card.
- On the Gift cards tab you can issue a card by hand (for a voucher sold in person), see each card’s history, adjust a balance with a reason, or cancel a card.
Discount codes
- Create a code that takes a percentage or an amount off, with optional start and end dates, a total limit and a limit per customer.
- Choose whether it works on everything, on chosen services, or on chosen class packs.
- Codes work on what’s paid online when booking (deposits and payments) and on class packs, not on renewing memberships.
- One discount code and one gift card can be used together. To stop a code, switch it off.
